Summer MOPS & Updated Activities and Events
Our first "Summer MOPS" event was a success! I had a great time at our MOPS BBQ on June 25th and hopefully everyone else did too! There was SO much yummy food, lots of kiddos splashing at the Splash Park, and fun catching up with friends. Of course, I forgot to take pictures (like usual!). Our next Summer event will take place on July 23rd at East Park, where we will have a picnic and kids can feed the ducks or play on the playground. This will be July 23rd at 6 PM and I am asking everyone to bring a "brown bag" supper for your own family and a blanket to sit on.
In other news, I will be working on updating our activities and events section of the blog in the next few days, so let me know if there are any kid-friendly activities coming up that I should include.
Hope you are all having a good Summer!

There were even a few prizes involved! Join us for our next meeting on May 28th at 6 PM- we won't have a speaker but we will have discussion questions and a craft.

Father's Day Dinner
I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming event that supports Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church. To help celebrate Father’s Day and raise funds for children’s programs in the church, a steak dinner will be held on June 15th. It would be great to see many MOPS members attend the event, especially since one of the goals of MOPS is building a strong foundation for moms AND children. Tickets will be sold in advance for $20 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the First United Methodist Church (421 W. Central, El Dorado, KS). This event is open to the public so make sure to let your friends & family know, as well.

Very helpful information for this time of year in the Midwest! RSVP on our facebook page, El Dorado MOPS Group, or email me at eldoradoksmops@gmail.com with your name (and child's name/age) if you would like to attend.
